yesterday a policeman visited us , he was asking how the fids were improving ( the ones from the trauma). he was of course in uniform....well last night I had once again sleep with the flock...they were very subdued all day but cried at night for company..the uniform must have triggered bad memories for them..poor darlings that is a good lesson for us..not to let the past intrude on them...I have phoned the police and ask if they visit in the future no uniforms please...also thinking about it it may also be the person themselves that cause the upset, as the birds may remember them not just the uniform...what wonderful memorys they have

You just keep doing what you do, Violet, and I know they'll be fine.
