I'm posting on line rather than a PM so that people who are curious will be brought up-to-date.
My flights are booked. I will be arriving in Albuquerque at 10:23 a.m. o n March 29th, and will be leaving Albuquerque at 1:35 p.m. on April lst.
These are Delta flights--not as much hassle over animals as American Airlines. There are also no changing planes, and the flights are about 4 hours, compared to 6 or more.
Do I need to rent a car? If so, I want to reserve it before I get there.
I'm so excited! Tell Sunshine I'm coming to see him.
Do you have the Crunchie berries he talks about down there, or should I bring some with me. Do you know what flavor?
I realize we may have to work around Michelle's condition, so don't worry about that. What is the latest?

That goes for me too Evelyn! I am so excited about your trip out to meet/take home Sunshine. Not to mention that you get to visit with Anna!!!!

Have you been around older grey's before? I know you have Tamar, but she is pretty young still. You are going to have such a dynamic household with to CAG's!!!!

I rescued a 6-year old male grey who had not been out of his cage in 4 years and rehomed him with a woman who adores him. He really blossomed out in her care. Before that, he trembled everytime anybody came close.
Tamar is the only grey I have now--a year old.

Well, Anna says Sunshine is stand-offish with her and Andy. He did like a neighbor, though. We're taking a wait-and-see attitude.

Just come armed with string cheese and crunchie berries, and you will make friends very quickly!!!! He seems to be VERY food modivated. Not to mention that you do speak bird all ready.... LOL!

all I have to say is...don't judge us too harshly when you get here as there are cages stacked wall to wall. It is just incredibly crazy around here right now and we aren't usually so packed with birds. Hopefully Zazu will be going home this week...Hobbit will be going home over the weekend, and Goofy may be going to stay with a foster family next week also. That will take some pressure off us, I hope!
We would be happy to pick you up at the airport, no need to rent a car. I'm sure we will be going to visit Michelle and you are more than welcome to come along.
For those who don't know what's going on - Evelyn may or may not be taking sunshine home. I hope the answer is yes as i would really like for Evelyn to have him, but if he seems to like my girlfriend more, i'm going to do what's right for sunshine, regardless of the trouble Evelyn is going through to get him. That may sound harsh, but I feel I have a great responsibility for the happiness of each bird we get. That being said, I don't think it would be fair to make any snap decisions unless sunshine is just livid. We will be sure to keep you updated on what happens.

Anna's house is not half as bad as she makes it sound... lol. AND, it takes her awhile to start giving you jobs... I eventually just started doing things on my own lol.

I didn't figure it was. If I see something that needs doing I will just do it.
