I was asked the question -- what is the meaning of the colored dots next to our names? Some are silver - some are green and some are other colors.

Birdie is the expert here -- maybe she can clue us in. :susp:

I love these smilies :smiles::hihihi::hiwavee::bouncing:

But more important, why did God decide to put that red dot of feathers on the RFM's head? Why do tiels have that pretty orange dot?

Hey, Larry, it's a bird board. We see colored dots everywhere! LOL

Now, Larry, you were warned about me. LOL

You know my tiel was once wet after a bath and while playing with a toy turned his orange spot bright red, scared me to death till I figured out what was going on....

:smiles: Yes Kristy I have an 8 y/o BE2 named Carl, and Anna (she has a photo of a B & G next to her sign on) has a BE2 named Benny. Both of our BE2's were re-homed to us, and both of our boys have anxiety issues, but they are both just sweet loving little guys.....

My Carl loves to spin when he play's here is a quick little clip of him playing, I loved the video on your website of Solo going through the hoop!

As long as we're asking questions here . . . .why do BE2s look like they just went a round with Rocky Balboa?

I've never seen one in person, but in pictures they all look so subdued and sad. Do they ever raise a ruckus?

Truth be told (Anna cover your eyes) I used to think that they were ugly.... Sorry Carl, but momma loves you; of course that was till I heald him.

The awesome thing about thier patches is you can tell so much about what is going on with them just by looking & touching them. When he gets mad, they twitch, when he is excited they are pink, when he is playing or flying around they are bright red or purple. In the morning first thing, they are cold, and he will let me kiss on them. I think it helps him wake up too. They also LOVE to rub the pouches on your bare skin, like they are trying to feel you, it is almost intimate.... It just melts my heart when he does his I love you sound, while rubbing his SUPER soft fragile skin on mine.......

But they LOVE to play, and Carl is pretty quite unless he gets scared, then he will flock call. His voice is tiny and wraspy, but he will talk to me.

Do they ever raise a ruckus?

:rofl: Oh my gosh ruckus is a understatement.

They also LOVE to rub the pouches on your bare skin, like they are trying to feel you, it is almost intimate....

I truly feel :love:soo close to my Solo Polo when he reaches up to touch cheek with his patch! Two seconds later he back to being a naughty boy.

Birdlover was one of the peeps that "helped" me get the nerves to get a Too. Julie I loved the spinning video and Carl is a very handsome boy!:D

Thank you, and so is your sweet Solo!

You should see Benny, I'm sure Anna will post a link soon. She has brought him back from being plucked, and his feathers are so thick and soft you would never have known!
