I have officially become a parrot's pet. Yes, that's right. I am my pet's pet. Benny Boy decided after my warm bath the other night that my fingernails were not short enough and needed a good trim. He was preening my finger and my nail and then all of the sudden, SNAP! He drove his beak right through the center of my nail and snapped the end off so that the nail was short. Well...that was odd. I kept letting him preen my fingers and again, SNAP! He got another one. Ok...that one was too close to the "quick." Benny, you need a little more practice before you try that again. My bird is making sure that I am kept well groomed. I think he is proud of his "pet" even if she is plucked.

What a cutie, sorry to hear you are nail less for a while...

Carl has to "brush" my hair with his beak. Yes it is easy to do, since it is waist lenght. But in the evenings while I cross stitch he brushes my hair with his beak.

Who knew be2's were such hygeen freaks?

That Benny boy is so fastidious, I hear Too's are also good a mole removal, eyebrow plucking and opening childproof packaging.:rofl:Your handy house hold helper.

How does Benny feel about your hair destructive behavior? Does it worry him? Have you explained to him that Andy just will not let you grow that leg hair!

(:hihihi: Hi! I'm back!)

:haha: If that's the case, then I must be Cassie's pet, she always pulls the hairs that are out of place.
