I ahve a tiel named Tiki, who seems to ALWAYS BE EATING. I literally think he spends half his life eating (finally he started to nibble on some broccoli!) could there be a problem there? His weight seems just fine, and his poops look perfect, ocassionally a little yellower then normal, but that's from the pellets I believe lol.

What does Tiki weigh? Does he play with toys? Sometimes birds eat when they get bored. His weight is the major factor though. I wrote you another post about tikis eating in the thread you posted on the main board.

Tiki is weighing in at 92 grams. And he plays a lot. in fact, we just went to walmart and bought all kinds of stuff to make new toys! at petsmart, they have this hoop thing with beads, and ALL the birdies loved that. Tiki is very much a part of the "FLOCK" he argues with us, he talks back to me during bedtime, and he has started picking at things like broccoli which is awesome. If all he decides he wants is pellets, seed, and broccoli, I'm happy! found out he has an intense dislike of carrots @_@
