Rarely do I go all the way through my Address Book. With that one I did! What a hoot. It reminds me of the one comparing computers to cars, like every time they build a new road, you have to buy a new car to navigate it, and when the airbag is about to fill, it asks, "Are you sure you want to use the airbag?"

finally, I'm not the only one on the planet that has this now:) I hadn't heard of anyone else using it! I can't wait until I figure out how to play a VHS tape into the puter & burn it to a DVD. If you figure it out 1st, will ya clue me in? :haha:

Yes you can... Dell business machines.

I have not taken the plunge nor do I allow my clients to take the plunge to Vista... it just ain't healthy.

Oh by the way... some will tell you that Microsoft no longer supports Windows XP --- don't believe them. MS no longer supports Windows XP Home edition but will support Windows XP Pro for another 5 years at least.

My husband is into all things new in technology. I BEGGED him not to put it on here but he just had to have it. I had heard it was bad, but it's worse than I imagined. If I want to open anything that a professor or anyone else sends me that was made/saved on XP I have to go to school. It's just them bullying everyone into upgrading.:glare:

They have had to bend to public opinion & sell computers sans Vista due to all the problems contained therein.

I have been dealing with Dell computers for over 15 years and have developed a close relationship with many of the techies there. Dell made the decision to keep supplying Windows XP Pro with their business line of computers because they determined that Vista was too unstable and not as backward compatable with a lot of hardware as it should be.

The folks at Dell are a whole lot more business savy than the folks at MS.

I wonder if Microsoft will eventually admit they need to rework vista and add some kind of upgrades to help the world out. Yea... right... lol

Not while they can make money with it, soon as the money stops MAYBE.

""I wonder if Microsoft will eventually admit they need to rework vista and add some kind of upgrades to help the world out. Yea... right... lol""

that is exactly what they are doing, only instead of their designers working on the problems, MS has a history of releasing flawed programming and then letting the consumers tell them what is wrong - we basically pay them to let us do their work - amazing.

I'm sticking with XPPro....

or one could go over to the mac. Lots of appealing things about it especially not needing virus protections software.

PS. tony went out with me this weekend. Met several people. OF course they fell in love with such a sweet bird and of course he talked!!! He said Hi tony, good bird and gave bunches of kisses. He loves head scritches and could let you do that all day. He is funny though...doesn't like any petting under his wings. thats ok, he does like foot massages and rasberries.

that is great. Now how is that girl U2 doing. Did you get her a home yet?

Again, this friend thought Tony was the nicest Rosie she has ever met. She couldn't get over how sweet he was and secure. And then to have him talk. He is one happy little boy bird.

The Umbrella girlbird is still here, I may take her to LA in a week or so - she's really sweet and obviously beautiful, but so far nobody gets interested.
