View Full Version : What was God thinking when He made birds?
I hope this thread doesn't offend anyone, but I constantly ask my Scarlet how it feels to be God's most beautiful creation. I think seeing photos of the MMs prompted me to ponder "What was God thinking."
Let's pretend we designed birds. Why would we make some tooz white and then throw in the pink of the body, but not the wings, of the MMs?
Why is there a bulls eye target around the cloaca. The feathers form a diamond shape and they are in contrasting colors - light blue on the Scarlet Macaw. It is as if the bird is saying, "Hit me here."
Weird questions, I know, but I am retired and have a lot of time on my hands. Hee hee. I wonder how long it will be before I stop working "I am retired" into each post. LOL

When God made our birds, he was thinking... "I want to experiment with colors today". And that is how we have all the BEAUTIFUL birds he has blessed us with. (LOL) In all honesty, I believe he made our beautiful birds the way he did so we could enjoy them. If they all looked and acted the same, there would be no fun in that....
I was just thinking something similar to this yesterday when we were having cuddle time. I always love on him and think about how beautiful and original he is. Everyone says the pics of him I take all look the same, but I see something different in every pic I take.
