Another safe tree

I am thinking of making a birdy gym each for my babies, my neighbor just cut down a maple tree is it safe to use. Sorry so dumb when it comes to trees, I used to have a page bookmarked that had all the safe trees and all the unsafe ones listed but I must have accidently deleted while going through a clean the computer kick. I will never learn :smiles:

sam has an apple tree mind you she's of the smaller variety of birdie..a tiel.....we chopped it from our front yard..it is small but takes up half my living room.....she loves it must go on it a million times a day..we soaked it overnight in 1/2 cup bleach in the bath tub to kill pests and then rinsed a gazillion times..hubby built a base for it ..we let it dry and voila....a huge ugly apple tree in the front room..lol

Right now I have one thats made for table top for the smaller birds but I intend to change that before too long, the tiel and conure will play on the same playgym. Have to have seperate larger ones for the U2s (one each so there is no jealousy). Also I enjoy making things. :D

I knew I had seen one there but when I went back I couldn't find it, :o I have it in my favorite folder now. :) My CRS (can't remember stuff) has progressed to CRAFT (can't remember a flipping thing) (I did the nice translation) Didn't want Larry to ban me :rofl::rofl::rofl:
