I was at the local pet shop today and went to the bird room window to check out the birds. The past couple months they've had either the sun conure out of the cage or the green cheek. Originally when I asked what the green one with the red tail was the young employee told me it was a greenwing for $650. I searched bird picks and found out it was probably a green cheek. Today both the sun and the GC were out of their cages. The GC was preening the sun, but when he saw me, he flew to the table by the window to get a closer look at me.
I put my hand on the window by him and he twisted his head back and forth and then he put his foot on the window by my hand.
I am convinced he wants to take me home . . .ugh. . . me to take him home. They're asking $350 and he is 10 months old.

Oh Diane... remember it's an alien. :alien:
You are in its power and you have no control over your actions. They will out number you and make you do their bidding.

Are you sure, Larry. Maybe it's just the big ones and the smaller ones are just birdys.

Actually, I planned on taking my camera the next time I went there, but today was not planned and I didn't have my camera with me.

Oh no -- I know what I am talking about.
I never gave it a consideration until you mentioned (you know what) a few months ago. And since then I have been observing... very carefully.
It is not the ones in the backyard or in the trees --- it's the ones that worked their way into our homes... all of them are aliens - the big and the small.
Shhh -- don't let them know that we caught on. :eats:

Darn! I don't know if could handle more than one alien. Cloud keeps me tied up with all his research tests.

You have been targeted by the psychic love arrow right through the brain (heart). I think that you have been selected for more detailed study disguised as the bird wants/needs me, I believe this one is a specialist come to study in more detail. Cloud obviously is more concerned with behavior modification.. . .

If you can find a sweet little bird that comes to you when you visit snatch that cutie up in a heart beat! My two little tiles, while NOT the smartest, are the best little lovies I could imagine. On my day's home sick when I can not trust the big birds out to nap with me, my two little guys sit on both sides of my chest and we sleep for hours together.... They are the best additions to a flock of big birds, because thier little personalities are so drastic, and add such a wonderful dynamic to the home.
Good luck bringing him hom, and we want pictures, after all if one of our flock gets another bird, we all do, and that helps EVERYONE with thier MBS!!!!

Common sense tells me it's not the right time now, with the holidays upon us. I still have most of my shopping to do yet. Cloud is the only one that is finished and he just about wiped me out. 'SanToo Claws' got him an air purifier, an avian scale/perch, and a stainless steel travel cage with a carribean blue canvas cover. I remember ordering the air purifier, but the next morning when I checked my email, my computer was on and there were two order confirmations for the other two items. There were seed husks on my keyboard and Cloud had a guilty look on his face.
