View Full Version : 1st Trip To The Lake

We took Gabe and Katie on a little trip this weekend, down to their grandparents cabin who have water front property at a little man made lake in NM. We all had a very relaxing time - I mostly sat in a cozy recliner making the worlds most massive birdy toy ever (for the amazing toy destroying BatToo) which I will probably share tomorrow. Andy caught up on some rest and Gabe had a ball running around the yard collecting sticks and rocks in his little red tupperware container. We took this kids down to the beach this morning and Gabe collected little seashells and put them in his pocket. When we got down by the water he noticed all the seagulls and hawks in the sky and pointed at them saying "bird!" I picked up a big seashell and a very small one representing mommy and & Katie that she can save as her first memory of the beach. Meanwhile Auntie Michelle came over and stayed with the birdies and though I have not talked with her today, I heard through the grapevine that she was snuggling my Benny Boy. I'm so surprised that he even came out of his cage but it looks like our little stinker is really getting brave. Here are some pictures from our trip.

those children are gorgeous...as beautiful as you are...must be nice to be on a lake where there is no sn ow piled to the sky...those kids are sooooooooogorgeous.

sounds like you had a much needed rest. glad you had fun! Benny boy is practicing for July and getting ready for all the lovin's we will want to give him:) I'd be thrilled if he'd step up for me! :yeah:

It was 75 degrees out and I really enjoyed the sunshine.
