Safe tree?

Is Crepe Myrtle safe to use to make a birdy gym out of. I have a friend that has trimmed one and the branches would be perfect size to make a birdy gym.

Yep - the best there is. Bottle brush is a great one too.

I did trim them last year I got tired of them hitting me in the head when ever I got my mail. The neighbor was real good about, this year I will ask him to do it keep the branches he cuts off. He will cut it further back than I did.
