just wind her up and watch her go from morning till night..lol...hubby said she was yapping all day and zooming all day..no wonder after dinner every night she has to have a little nap on my birdie perch..well you see I am a rather large woman and after dinner & dishes, I curl up on the couch to watch my soap and lean onto the arm..well Sam takes that opportunity to eat from her little cup we have on the table then come over for a little scritch and then next thing you know, she is between my breasts leaning against one...not even on one foot!! she leans and snoozes..it is so hilarious:rofl:...guess she knows where it is warm..lol...every night..same routine...have a little snooze with mommy...lol she does sleep on one foot all other times....all other times..now that is pretty darned smart dont you think?? and funny!!! Sam, I bow to your greatness..lol:bowdown:

Don't you just love it when they do that? You can just feel all that trust and love. :leye: Your heart just melts and you can forgive them anything.

I just love it when the little tiels will come and sleep on you. Some times when my boys are tired during the weekend days, and I am sitting doing my cross stitch they will sit on my shoulder's for hours, cat napping..... I just adore the little innocent guys!

my little conures will sometimes do the same. They will each pick a shoulder and cuddle up and we take a birdie nap while watching tv.

When I lie down on the couch, my 1-year old CAG Tamar will get on my chest, squat down and lay her head and breast on me, and stick her little butt as high in the air as she can get it, and go to sleep. She has stayed there as long as two hours.

I'd love to provide mine with that same level of comfort but the gods were not smiling on me in that area when I was born.

I just love your Sam stories! I've never met a teil that was that interactive. My grandma had one when I was little that would step up and let you hold her. My great grandma had one that wouldn't even come from her cage. When my great grandma passed so did she. Very sad, but it's amazing that she was that bonded to her.
