I have a LSC who is a rehome. Actually, I have had him a couple of years now. He won't let me hold him. He will grab my hand and look at me with a little pressure. He has my number. When my husband gets him out he is a real cuddle bunny. Tucker, our LSC, is very independant and wants to be messed with when he wants it or someone else is getting it. So, I will try to get him and he just doesn't want me to hold him but he will grace me with his head so I can give him scritches. What is the deal. He is in his early 30's (I think).

At 30 you probably aren't going to change him much. I'd suggest letting him cuddle with hubby and you just stick to what he will tolerate. Talk softly to him, sing to him, give him scritches, give him treats. He may come around. He may have been a man's bird before you got him. Don't try to force him to do anything he doesn't want to do. That will just have the opposite effect of what you want.
