:rolleyes: Last I heard from Anna (Saturday) she was VERY busy and trying to figure out when she was going to get all of her shopping done, now that Andy is back to work.

So who got the extra toy Anna, was it Orbit or Chrissy? And how do they like them? I am trying out a new design, with my toy making, but my parrots are leaning towards the doughnut beads, and not the regular pony beads? And of course those are 2x-3x as expensive!!!;)

Well, if most of you haven't guessed by now, I think i'm probably the most accident prone person on the planet. Disaster follows me like the smell of dairy farm on a road trip. (Yes, I made that up but it's so true!) I thought a tasty cinnamon raisin bagel would be a fantastic addition to my lunch this afternoon but managed to slice open my finger instead of the bagel. Lucky for me, urgent care is only 5 minutes away and they were able to stop the bleeding (after an hour and a half since i'm on blood thinners) and glued my finger closed. I suppose I could be bummed about the whole thing, but you know...I think it's important to look on the bright side. I'm officially excused from dishes, cleaning bathrooms and scrubbing bird cages for a while week. Hurray! Aww, poor Andy. And Larry - i guess we're even now. My hunt and peck finger is out of commission. I've been reduced. My only concern really is what Benny will think of the banadge. I may lose my cuddle buddy for a few days.

Going goth huh? I guess that's certainly one way to put it. For those of you who didn't read my post and really DO think i'm going goth, our red lory, Mars bit me in the face a few days ago. those are the piercings everyone is talking about. Actually, she bit me just in time to make me look like a pimply teenager for my husbands work Christmas party. I think Andy commissioned her to do the deed so that none of the other men would be checking me out during the party. HeHe. Seriously though, they weren't very bad bites and healed very quickly. My chin was sore for a few days but all is well now. That was actually one of very few times I have been biten on the face and the last time was by a very angry BFA who really did give me a piercing. In fact, someone suggested that I just put a ring through my face and no one would be able to tell the difference. That's not really my style, so I let it heal and now I have an adorable artificial dimple there instead.

Julie - I did get all of my shopping done, thank goodness. I took my mom with the second time so it was much easier to handle the kids. I have to say though, I got plenty of weird looks walking around the mall, trying to feed a baby under my shirt. Haha. Orbit got the extra toy, though we wrapped it up and put it under the tree for him so he has to wait until Christmas. Benny talked me into making Carl a present and I finally rewarded his nagging. I sent it out in the mail yesterday, so it should be there soon. Benny does really well with the smaller beads. He doesn't try to break them or swallow them, though we try to keep an eye on what he's doing anyway. Benny loves the toy you sent. I hung it from the top of his cage so that he has to hang like a bat to get to it. I think he's really enjoying that. I also decorated the front of his cage with a wreath made of grapevine. He would be terrified of it if it were inside his cage, but he's having a blast with it hooked to the other side of his door.

Alright...did I answer all of the questions? I'll post about Katie and Gabe in a seperate thread. Larry...you've been a naughty Uncle, spreading all of these rumors about me! Evelyn is now convinced that i'm a hoodlem...hoodlum?...Hoodlim? I don't believe I've ever had to spell that word before. ;)

I seriously know what you mean about shopping. I took my 2 year old and hubby on sunday. My oh my what a trip. Tons of people, they got 8 inches of snow where I was shopping, while we were shopping, and I think my 7 year old figured out who santa really is even though she wasn't with us:rolleyes:

Did you get all your shopping done? I still have to hit up the toys store lol. After getting my big kid ( hubby ) a PS3 it's gonna be interesting hehe.

HaHaHa Evelyn. No tattoo. I'm clean! In fact, I don't even have my ears pierced...anymore. I used to but the holes closed up because I rarely wear any jewelry that is not my wedding ring. Birdies like that shiney stuff too much.
