This section - "People Things" is the very reason HappyBirdy was born.

Please share things here about yourselves and about others. Feel free to ask for and to send prayers, good thoughts, good vibes, chants or any other ways you may have to help others.

I second that. It's great to have a new home. And I LOVE the people section too. It was a great idea:D

Awesome idea!
And I am so glad chants are allowed. I live in the South. Sometimes they are frowned upon. ;)

What a nice way to keep us family and ability to care for others while we still have posting area directly for the birds. NIce idea...I like it (singing the song but no one here to hear it...that is a good thing...)

Hello my dear Rua,

You are so right. Our birds truely are amazing. They can read our moods before we do. And when we are ill, they know it and watch over us.

A couple years ago, my wife broke her ankle in three places. She had major surgery to reconstruct her ankle and then was laid up on the couch for several weeks - drugged up for the pain. All the while when she was on the couch and in a drug-induced sleep, Baby sat on the back of the couch and watched over her. Baby would never go to sleep - she would close her eyes to a tiny slit but never fully close her eyes.

Yes - we can best take care of our birds by taking care of ourselves and each other.
