I put my birds in their carriers and put the carriers in the backseat. I strap them down with the seatbelt. Since there is no way to disconnect my front seat airbags, I no longer carry them in the front seat.

Does everyone here use the seatbelt and the backseat?

Edit.
I'm sorry Dot... I wasn't laughing at you! I was loling because I thought that was still under the travel cage thread...oops. Ask everyone, I'm good at making those mistakes...

Welcome to my world! I always make those kinds of mistakes. Wrong thread. Wrong page. Wrong name for a bird. Wrong guess at what kind of a bird John Doe has, even though he posts fifty times a day. LOL

I never considered the airbag... yikes. Yes they are seat-belted in and from now on they'll be in the back.

Anything that breathes has to wear a seat belt in my car. Even some inanimate objects.

What inanimate objects do you carry in your car that breathe? :haha:

Sorry. I couldn't resist. I know what you mean (I think). :D

That's about all I can think of (and I didn't think of that).

I love the book, "Eats Grass, Shoots and Leaves." Have you read it, or heard about it?
