As you all know, Tiki is the secret favorite of the household as far as the tiels go, but he's also the one we experiment on as he's the friendliest and the least likely to freak out. This morning was the 2nd morning he's ever gone into the shower.

The first time was kind of... weird Lol. He looked in the mirror at his wet self and got freaked out. apparently he's very intimidating when he looks like a drowned rat..

This morning was AWESOME. he LOOOOOVES taking showers with mommy,. In fact, he jumped to my bare shoulder (which by the way really hurt) and decided to whistle sweet nothings into my ear before taking a turn in the spray and dancing like the crazy with wings outspread and tail in the air. Next time, I'll have to get pics of a wet and very disgruntled looking King Tiki.

The tiels are so cute when they get into the shower. They lift up thier wings and try to get as much water on them as possible. My boys do not always like showers in the winter, but will happily take one daily in the summer. They sit on the shower rack with me, and Carl stand on the glass shower doors. Duch does not like to be that close and flys down to the bird stand in the bathroom. That water stuff just makes her melt, porr thing!

So happy to hear King Tiki is enjoying the shower, wait till you get all of them in there with you at the same time! Its great....

:glare:All of you that have fids who love showers should just keep it to yourselves!
:rofl:I'm just playing! I'm VERY glad that Tiki loves showers! I NEVER thought I would ever have to fight a bird to take a shower! I had a Mexican Red Head when I was younger who took a shower with me every day. I just don't understand why Chicken is so anti-showering!!! LOL

You know it would be a Tiel to lead the way for good birdy behaviour. Love those drowned rats!
