View Full Version : Why I Love "The Bat" & More

This bird could not be more vibrant or bursting with more personality than he already is. I made him a little goody bowl filled with some fun toys. He was really enjoying the toys until the camera came out and then he had to have his beak right in my face to see what was going on. Maybe he figured if he got up on my shoulder he could see why I was so interested in the little silver thing in my hands. I know I'm not the only one who has a new buddy. Peggy Sue really likes Bat Too and he likes her even more. He refused to sit still on his play gym this afternoon because peggy sue wasn't in the house to keep him company. I put him back out with her and he sat quietly, preening. I don't think this is a romantic relationship, but they do seem to be becoming buddies (keeping in mind that Peggy is a male.)

Also, just before it's time for her to go home, Lucy got up the guts to ask PJ out on a date. I caught them oogling over a bowl of fresh food and preening next to one another.

Also, Wanda called tonight. She sounded like she could hardly wait to see her babies and who could blame her? Someone was super excited to hear her momma's voice over the phone and I just can't wait to see dolly's reaction when mom walks into the aviary to take her home!

Lucy is too young to date! She is to be in bed by 8pm! Besides, I bet it was your bird that asked her out... 'cause she knows better! And she's not oogling, she's daring him to touch her stuff. Yeah, that's it...

She's probably already laying down the law- "what's mine is mine and what's yours in mine... that's the rule."

Wanda you have the most lovely relationship with your Dolly you can see the love. She really does want to hold that phone herself so she can talk & listen more. Wonderful birdies must mean wonderful Mamas.
