View Full Version : Valid Question

The other night my wife Anna and I were cleaning in the garage when she broke some glass on the floor. My first question to her was, "Are you wearing shoes?" She looked at me incredulously and exclaimed that of course she was wearing shoes since we were cleaning out in the garage. I responded that given her documented history of barefootedness that I felt it was a valid question. I don't believe I received a response.

Tonight it snowed for the better part of the night. I came home around 1:30 AM from my shift to find many of these in my front yard:

Think my question was valid? :D

Well I'm glad to see you got home safe last night Andy, but sure sounds like you did not get to leave early like Anna was hoping.....

You can not fault Anna for always being bare footed... You do live in NM afterall!

Are you sure they are hers? Was she just walking the dog? I'm sure there is a "reasonable" explination. She does have to pass the time till you get home in the wee small hours of the morning after all!

ACTUALLY...I went outside to see if my neighbors could hear Bhodi screaming after the clock passed midnight and he was still going. Shoes? Worthless. Who needs them anyway? Some day I will die in peace if I die bare footed. You can quote me on that. :D

Anna,

When my cousin finished walking across the stage and got her diploma during the high school graduation ceremony they stopped the whole thing to make an announcement. Now that she had "offically" graduated, they were now requiring all of the students to wear shoes to class every day!!!

Can you imagine in this day and age something like this still happens! I thought it was a great story.:smiles:

Oh, he was a boy. That explains it.

I have never heard of anyone with a BFA female who did not say she was an angel. I think if everyone on this planet had a female BFA, we'd have peace on earth. It's hard to go stirrin' up something when you are getting that much lovin'.

Now, Andy, don't you wish you had starting posting here when Anna did? Then we would not have first fallen in love with Anna. We would love you both equally and would not even get in this argument. Since we met her first and have loved her longer, I suggest you give up, apologize, and buy her candy!

Awww...you don't love me as much as you love my wife? Not that I can blame you - she is very much my better half!

Now, as far as the giving up...I didn't know I had anything to give up. I love the fact that my wife runs around barefoot and I've learned not to question it.

Oh, and as for the candy, I'm on a temporary ban from that. Why don't you ask her about her Christmas stocking...

Oh!!! I know what was in the stocking!!! I'm not telling!!! I'm gonna make Anna tell you about her addiction!:haha:

Addiction would be a good word actually, as I just can't say no to candy...particularly Ferrero Rochers. Anyone know what those are? I could eat my weight in those things every day and never tire of them. In one of my college classes we were instructed to build a giant sculpture of something we really loved and wanted to pay homage to. Making a sculpture of The God of the Universe out of wire and stucco seemed a bit unrealistic as my talents don't stretch that far so I made a giant Ferrero instead. Today it sits in my parents backyard as a decorative piece. Most people think it's a giant stucco cupcake, but hey, those are good too. Andy bought as many Ferrero's as he could possibly cram into a giant stocking for me for christmas. The sad part, they are almost gone. What Andy didn't tell you is that my goal this year is to cut way back on sugar as I eat way too much of it. I'm pretty sure if I stopped cold turkey, my body would have no idea how to function without all the sugar so i'm transitioning to eating more fruit right now instead of quitting cold turkey.

I know what you're talking about, my favs are the hazlenut ones.

:haha: that's the problem I have with candy. If it's here, I eat it! So I don't keep any at home.
Today is a bad day for that, I'm snowed in. :frozen:We got 9" of snow so I made a birdy day and called in. I told them I have anal glocoma {I just can't see my A** comming to work} now I'm craving chocolate and don't have any... but I do have a can of chocolate frosting that has been tempting me all day. I'm not even going to bother with the cake, just a spoon.

Another member of Chocoholics Anonymous? I love dark chocolate & try not to eat it more than once a week(failure), I also like those Ferro Rocher goodies. Brenda that is a good one! Have one question-how do you see your backside when you are siting on it to drive.

Ohhhh no, here we go with the candy....

Most of you dont know but my prior job was working for Jelly Belly Candy Co. I ate more candy than most of you know exist! The horrible thing about it is I'm still addicted and normally have 1 or 2 candy jar's on my desk at all times... Today it's 3 jars! Part of it is the draw to get to know new people in my new office (its been 6 months now) but now that the dish has been out for a while people help to contribute Jelly Belly monies as they love the dish out! I wish I were not addicted but at least it is not a chocolate candy addiction, just the pure sugar ones!

Yeah. I was leaning towards the Bhodi thing too. U2s being mind-numbingly loud, one can easily forget to put on one's shoes. As long as it wasn't Bhodi's prints out there you're all good.

You know, when offered light or dark chocolate that only 1 out of 5 choose dark? It's up to you, Anna, and I to represent the minority! Personally, anything with less than 60% cacao tastes too sweet to me so I'm definitely in the dark chocolate camp.
