Today I came across a letter post-marked 5/26/66 from Pres. Johnson's secty. Paul M. Popple..(signed ) in reply to my mothers req. for (the observance of a special period of prayer) enclosed was "a proclamation by the president" where he declared Wed. 10/20/65 as National Day of Prayer...postage was 2-5 cent stamps..

WOW!!! I'd LOVE to come across something like that! You should frame it and hang it somewhere!

How wonderful to find something like that! I, too, would frame it and hang it up. Nobody can see it in the safe.
