Brenda,
Your girls are just gorgeous!!! No doubt....
Does it seem like Stella has calmed down a little bit ever since you got Cassie, or has it just been winter really bad up there and she is not being hormonal yet?

She's already done the hormonal thing and is comming out of it. thankfully!
Stella has been trying to be a good girl {she has her days} she wants all of mommas attention so she stay between me & Cassie while they both get scritches. I have different times & different chores that they help me with so they both get time alone with me. Cassie will try to chase Stella away sometimes. As long as I'm not in the livingroom with them both on me, they get along pretty good most of the time.
Winter here... Oh boy. crazy! I'm surprised all my birds aren't confused. Yesterday afternoon it snowed, then thins morning it was raining & thunder & lightning. Only in .

I was just curious because there seem to be less eventfull situations with Stella lately, and did not know if you were just quiet, or if she was being a little angle baby.
My hubby was snuggling for over an hour with a little u2 baby this weekend, and I was constantly telling him NO! But in the back of my mind I was thinking about you and your two wonderful tooz!

Stella, an angel baby? Maybe with horns holding it up  She still trys to bite, mostly it's my fingers she gets or my toes. I have been getting her put into her cage before I have problems. She still lunges sometimes, but I've been lucky enough to catch her just before the bite and put her in her cage before she nails me. I'm sure it's only a matter of time, after all I'm human & she's a TOO.

Brenda,
I SO hope that one day I can have Linus and Theo that close together. The closest I've had them has been about three feet and I had to hold onto Linus's feet with a death grip. I'm pretty sure he would eat her at this point. We are making little bits of slow progress, but I still don't trust him in her presence one bit. Linus can be willful, like Stella.
It's going to be a long road, but I'm letting them set the pace.

My CAG still does not like Carl, she will dive bomb and give him "orders" all night long. Some birds just do not like each other. Typically it is the larger bird that is the aggressor, but not always. We can have them in the same room, but everyone knows thier appropiate places to be, and with 3 adults around to watch we are ok with them both out.

A neutral room is the easiest. No one is in anyones territory. It took me about 6 weeks before I would hold them both at the same time. I will never trust Stella with Cassie.
I get moments here and there that are sweet as can be. Last night Cassie and Stella held feet for a couple of secs. {a kodak moment} then Cassie tried to preen Stellas toes nails, I stopped it there before a toe got bitten.

my sun chases my OWA, Cassie will fluff & hiss at all of them, Stella's favorite to pick on is the OWA. {I think he was a chicken in a previous life} He got smart, he flys to mom. The birds each have their areas, but hey~ birds are birds and will explore. On those nights I have to rotate who's out of their cages at different times. Just gotta be careful. I can usually tell how the nights gonna go after the 1st 5 minutes of being home.
