Turbo, my handicapped Quaker

Sunday 1/17/2010 @ 2:38pm Turbo my little special quaker passed away.

For those of you who don't know about Turbo, she was a wildl quaker that had a head injury back in early 2009 and she couldn't be released back to her flock. We took her in during the summer and she's been a joy to have. Because of her head trama she was blind for awhile but we were soon able to discover she could see but she was severely handicapped. She enjoyed every and loved to be cuddled with.

Turbo-what a wonderful name for a Quaker. I know you will have a big hole in your heart those little green guys have the biggest personalities. Hugs for you and freedom from her limitations for Turbo.

I'm sorry for your loss Jeanne. I am amazed that a wild quaker took to you so eagerly, it says a lot about you as a person.
I have a quaker and know what a big space they occupy for such a little bird. I know Turbo will be missed. Fly free.
