Please send flowers and/or cards to:

Rua Karetai
Flat 6C 98 Charlotte Street
Balclutha, New Zealand

A trusted florist that I have used... http://www.flora2000.com/Shopping/New-Zealand.asp

Telephone number at the Balclutha residence if the florist needs it - 03-418-4298

Rua and her 4 year old grand-daughter Oceana will lay in state at the Balclutha residence - beginning this coming Monday, and they will be buried in the North Island in Ngaruawahia, NZ on Friday.

The four birds will return to the flat and will go to the person Jillian left in her will, should anything have happened to Rua. Jill had great insite. They will be back in Balclutha in the area they know so well and with the people they love...when visitors came to visit Rua, from Balclutha the birds got so excited, Rua had to do a lot of caring when they left.

I bow my head..I weep. it seems so terrible that one family should have so much tragedy..glad the birdies are taken care of..surely Jill has welcomed them into her heavenly home with open arms.

A question for Larry. I know the timing is not the best but I am aware you were planning a journey to New Zealand this year & couldn't join us at Annas' shindig, does this change your plans? Pardon me if the timing is poor.

I was shocked to hear the bad news about Rua and her grand-daughter, but am very happy that the birds will be taken care of by the people they love.

Your timing is not off at all. Yes I will still be going to NZ this October. I have been invited to the ceremony that will mark the end of the year of mourning for Jillian. That is when her soul will be sent home.

Rua was to be the one who would greet me when I arrived in NZ... now I don't know who will greet me there.

This is so sad.. I chatted just once or twice with Rua but she was an amazing person, as I'm sure Jill/Tony was. I can't believe the other board would not allow posting. I'm so tempted to put exactly how I feel for all the world to see!!

My heart mourns with the family, a child so small taken so fast. She must have been very special for God to take her home so suddenly..
