CROSS POSTING AS WE ALL KNOW THESE COULD BE IN ANOTHER STATE IN A MATTER OF HOURS PLEASE KEEP A LOOK OUT FOR ANYONE TRYING TO MAKE A QUICK SALE ...... THANKS FOR READING

Date: 2009-12-03, 10:00PM

Please help in passing along the following information: On or about November 28, 2009 the following birds were stolen, 2 Moluccan Cockatoos, both males, 2 Umbrella Cockatoos, both males, 1 Greenwing Macaw, sex unkown, 1 Blue Gold Macaw, sex unkown, and a very rare "Red Vented" Cockatoo, male, known as "Harvey". Harvey is a survivor of Huricane Katrina and was sent to us for safe keeping until such time that he could be sent to a controlled breeding program as there are an estimated only 2,000 of these birds in the world. Harvey is also micro chipped. These birds were in the care of Scott and Kim Cole of Springfield, Illinois and it has been discovered they have moved with no forwarding address with all of these birds. There have been police reports made to the Springfield Police and the State Police. If you have any information as to the were abouts of these people or the birds, you can contact the above mentioned police departments or send the information to this address. All charges will be dropped if the birds are returned. Thank you all for reading this and please pray for these helpless birds.

I was going to say how I have noticed that people become especially evil during the holidays, actually it's year round. I hope they find these people and birds and that they DO press charges.

rude, obnoxious, stingy, come to mind. I hate going out in public during the holidays. It's supose to be a time of peace but kind gestures sure seem few and far between. I hope the birds are well cared for and they find them soon.

My question is how did these people come to having the birds especially the rare black There are a number of people well known in the bird world that could have homed these birds.
