An idea for a Christmas gift or a Chaunukah Mitzfa, but because of a poor catch of the fall chum salmon run on the Yukon River, many sled dogs in the Yukon River area are facing starvation.

Whether or not to kill your dogs is a horrible decision to have to make, but I'd prefer that to the thought of them starving to death. I hope they get help in time.
