So I KNOW the birds are smart. I'm also aware that from time to time...they are smarter than me, but this took some guess work on my end. :D

I retrieve my green cheek from his perch, he steps up like a good little man, and I always give him a kiss when I get him off the perch. He will sometimes make the little kissy sound when I kiss him....but today he would say What? and rub his head on my lips.

I would kiss him

He would rub..."what?"

Finally...I realized...that when I want him to repeat something...I say, "what?'

to make that even funnier...my daughter used to do that when she was little.
Someone would say ouch...she would get this really concerned expression, and say, "Dat hurt?"

Crystal..my m2 yells what ..everytime my neighbor calls..she is the only one he does this to..when I answer hello he yells what..sometimes when I try to explain why I pulled him away from something that will hurt him..he turns his head into his back & says whatever:rofl:I tell him it is like talking to the wall:beathead: :haha:

I have a nanday conure that mimicks hiccups & coughs. I taught her the hiccups one afternoon when I had the darn things for 1/2 an hour.
