i need to know how to feed pumpkins to the birds. do i cook it or feed it to them raw?

either way is fine. They love the "guts" also which can be raw or cooked.

I ususally buy the miniature ones and quarter them after washing them really well.

Ya just want to make sure you don't buy the ornimental pumpkins that are sold in the stores this time of the year.

I buy the small pumpkin pie pumpkins. Baby loves the insides. She does get messy over them.

You can also bake or steam some until soft then add to the base of some really good birdy bread.

yes the pumpkins are a hit. yes i got pie pumpkins Lar. i cut them in quarters and put them in the bottoms of the cages.
