He found us!
Last night got a phone call from a neighbor several streets down who
heard a sound a child around 10:30p-11:30p the day before. Got there
this morning to look some more no luck. So at 7:00am tracked back to the
last place we saw him back of Chestnut Hill Elementary School.
Called out his name and guess what? He called back!!!
I was so happy! I ran through the thorny bushes over the neighbor's
fence and he called out again and again ... I looked up but couldn't see
him. And then finally there was he in the tree HIGH up in the branches.
Thanks for the Denise and her links, I knew exactly what not to do. I
called out his name, told him to come here... he didn't budge. It
started to rain too.
Got help from Carla and her rescuer friends (Doreen, Bob, etc) coaching
me and giving me the moral support I needed. It's tough being patient!
But eventually at around 11am he started to find his way down as I kept
calling out to him.
He slipped, I grabbed him covered him up in my jacket and brought him
home. He just finished eating and drinking now he's perched up. Looks a
bit disheveled but I think he'll be alright.
Taking him to vet tomorrow just to make sure.
Thank you ALL! You guys were all great help! THANK SO MUCH.
