Proctor Flim,
Per your advice, I stopped eating while the Subject was out of town. A nice human came by to feed us and talk to us, but I ignored her. The Red-fronted Alien and the Napeless Alien talked to her. Traitors! Both of them also ignored your directive and gained weight. The substitue human gave us large quantities of food and only The Scarlet Alien and I were able to resist eating. I did far better than the Scarlet Alien.
As soon as the Subject picked me up, she noticed the weight loss. She offered digestive food matter to us then weighed us. She knows this is bad procedure, but we had little time to consume digestive food matter. She wrote down our weights but did not do the math until Monday. She had to take the Scarlet Alien to the vet and she told her that I had lost 31 grams (earth measurement used in the EU - it is only used in this country with us Aliens) and that she was worried. The vet encouraged her to leave town each time I have over-consumed digestive food matter. I feel sad for the Subject because this greatly stresses her.
I have discovered something new about the affect of stress on the Subjects. When we are stressed, we get stress bars, which is a lack of color pigmentation. When some Subjects are stressed, the have little additional masses of pigmentation and flesh which they call "pimples." The pigmentation can be white, black, or red. "Pimples" are considered to be bad and they spend a great deal of time applying medications to alleviate this wonderful coloring. I personally think it enhances their pale faces. My Subject has a great deal of these "pimples." That is especially odd since she is an older female, well beyond the age of reproduction. These "pimples" mostly occur in the young Subjects.
With Sincereness,
Blue-fronted Alien
