What a little cutie! She looks so shy and quiet just sitting there with her beak/beard all fluffed up. Has she been pretty friendly so far, or quiet and shy? Any reaction from your big boy yet?

She is quiet and shy. She isn't totally comfortable with me yet, so I'm giving her as much space as she needs. She has a fabulous appetite, though, and eats everything I give her and I can tell that's winning her over. I had taken a video of her but she was so motionles that I figured stills were just as good.
Linus is being pretty good about the whole thing so far and for the most part he is just as contented playing in his paper bag as investigating her, well, mostly. She's still in quarantine but I let her out while I'm at work when I'm sure the birds won't come into contact with each other or their things. She is a darling little girl.

She sure is a beauty! We look forward to hearing more about her as she "warms" up to the new flock!

Aww! She looks like such a softy! You can tell that she is an older bird, but I just want to give her a little cuddle! I can't wait to hear more once she starts to feel more at home!!! Is she eating well, playing at all, or just taking it all in? Keep us updated!

She is still taking it all in. I guess she's a little bit of a perch potato, but she's eating really well. I'm really pleased with that. I think the only exercise she gets is when she walks down to her food bowl, walks back up to eat a peice and then does it all over again. I hope to get her to be more active and play with toys which she currently has no use for. I just adore her.
