Well today I had a Hida Scan and an ultrasound to check the functions of my gall bladder. The ultrasound wasn't that bad.It was the Hida Scan that was uncomfortable.First of all before they would even start they had me take a pregnancy test.Once that came back negative they began. It included them putting dye in my vein and xraying my gall bladder then they had me drink boost and another set of test started all this while laying perfectly still. This went on for about 3 hours with a break in between.Having anxiety this wasn't easy.I should hear the results within a week.
Hopefully it will be good news. But I have a feeling I will still be required to have the colonostropy due to the fact I have the sister with Crohns.:(So I'm asking for continued prayers.

Marcia my prayers are with you in hopes the test results are negative..the colonoscopy is actually not that bad..your dr. already knows you suffer from anxiety..so ask him/her to give you a mild sedative & put you to sleep during the procedure..the worse part for me was that drink the night before & the embarassment..when I awoke..I got dressed & my sister & I went out to lunch..My dr. said see you in five yrs...results were negative..this was so small in comparison to other tests I've had..but now my mind is at ease..:sorry:you are going thru this..but honestly..this test is a piece of cake..let us know how you are doing.
