Sam wore the two old geezers out this weekend..she was wild, just wild....at night we have the same routine...as soon as I get the broom out to start sweeping up the mess...that is Sam's signal to fly around the room like a little cannonball gone mad...then the very last thing she does is go on the fridge for her nightly game of peek...so cute..well last night we got distracted by a phone call & a few minutes later went to get Sam from the top of the fridge..she was fast asleep..lol lol...I hated to disturb her but we couldnt just leave her there..so we put her in the cage and got the beak for it..lol...but she still ran around the cage like crazy for five minutes..she does that every single night before she settles down....what a kook.....

Isn't life with a cockatiel such a joy? We have so much fun hearing about your little sam and it brings us joy that she brings you so much joy.

Anne..I had a tiel(mina sue)that would fly toward me..grab the top of my head then fly back to her food bowl..I finally figured out she was letting me know I'd forgotten to fill it up:dancered:now if this happens..my tiels Chantz & Precot chatter..Bambam hears them in the other room..then he yells..sure enough I did it again..when I fill their bowls..they stop..Bambam stops..if they can't get my attention..he certainly will:rofl:

Tiki landed on my head the other day.. I jumped as he made no noise and all of a sudden there's a birdie on my head! He's gettin an attitude now though, so i think it's time to clip him :)

Yep its altitude adjustment time for him for sure!
We have a tiel that clipping does NOT work on. No matter how far (5 - 6 first flights) he still flys beatutifully, and he is so darn awnery. Instead he gets his beak and toes trimmed, this calms him down nicely!
