They are from Parrot Island. The bird can see the treat but has to open an acrylic draw to get to it. You can put food or toys in it. I can't wait to get mine disinfected and on the cages.

Way past the dent here. bought 3 (different sizes).
But, from previous shows I have learned to save all year so I can get neat type things when the conference is on. Speaking with several vendors...this is the only show they go to or 1 or 2 or 3. A lot don't make the monthly or bi monthly shows.

Mine can already open theirs and the snotty little Red Front is trying to get her beak between the toy to grab the plastic rod used to hang it. BTW, I told him that would not do with a RFM and he is sending me SS rods and washers to replace the other stuff. You could probably go online and request the same if you think it will be a problem.

I don't want to hurt your feelings Dot - I wouldn't have those toys any where near Baby - or any other bird that chews.
I don't think a redesign will help at all.
Plastic is plastic - no matter what form it is in.

I should have said - "agressive chewer".
I have had acrylic toys for Baby. She works at them until she cracks pieces off them. She has cracked most acrylic toys that I have got for her. She now only gets pine wood... that I cut up from 2x4s.
I had bought her a small wooden chest of drawers, hoping that she would find the treat inside - making a nice foraging toy. She opened the drawer - dropped the treat to the floor - ate the drawer.
She then made tooth-picks out of the rest of the chest of drawers. I was dissapointed - but she had fun.

Same here, Larry. There is not one acrylic toy I have bought for Linus that he hasn't broken into pieces. Foraging toys are used in my presense and once the treat is retrieved I remove the toy until next time. This also keeps it fresh and new for him.
