My name is Tiki. I am 9 months old and I am a king. I own several pets, a female human they call "Michelle" or "Baby" and a male human named "Shane" or, coincidently enough, "Baby". It seems they respond well to the same name when called it one to another. They are a bonded pair and I should think if I had to seperate them they would surely parish!
I started out life with my siblings, being fed the yummiest food and in the warmest environment imaginable! That all ended quite suddenly! My human ran away and I never could find her, my siblings all seemed to have gone their seperate ways but I didn't have time to mourn because i quickly found myself Michelle! She was a difficult one to train and quite green in the way things in my household were to be run! in fact i briefly gave her up for a more mature female called "Anna". Alas I digress before I jump ahead of myself!
I had a larger territory all my own but my pet didn't provide the same things as my first one did. There's was no warm mushy food as I was used too and try as I might she just could not understand that I would not settle for less than my mushy! In fact, I nearly perished I was seemingly stubborn. I believe my pet was quite attached to me for she acted quite sad.. Though in my young age (I was still just a chick myself!) I fear I reacted quite harshly with her!
I nearly starved to death in that first month. Things seemed to be very difficult and my pet didn't understand what was happening. Thank goodness for her quick thinking when she finally did understand! She allowed me to adopt someone else.
