Like Windows Vista, Microsoft's new operating system WIndows 7 is even worse of a pig.

Stay away from this new inovation from Microsoft.

But Windows XP users, including the millions who have recently snapped up cheap, XP-powered netbooks, will first have to wipe out everything on their hard disks in order to install Windows 7. on their current machines. In fact, Microsoft doesn’t even call migrating to Windows 7 from XP an “upgrade.” It refers to it as a “clean install,” or a “custom installation.” This disk wipeout can be performed manually, or automatically during the Windows 7 installation process.

I have a Microsoft cordless keyboard and mouse... and I have no problems with them at all.

I change my batteries about once every three months or so.

I work from home and a couple of months ago the system said there was that update for IE7 and me like a fool who did not know any better went ahead and downloaded it.

Mistake. It messed things up and prevented me from working. Had to call the Help Desk to get me restored without it. A couple of weeks later it wanted to put it back out there since it was not loaded. I tried contacting Microsoft to find out what to do, but I did not get a response back from them and contacted the Help Desk again and they did some magic to prevent it from loading again.

I have a trackball mouse which is wireless and have learned the instant it acts weird to just replace the battery as there is no warning when the battery is low.

You are talking about Internet Explorer 7. That is your internet browser. I was talking about the new operating system Windows 7.

Internet Explorer is now at version 8.

Sorry for the confusion.
