Einstein the African Grey

I was watching Animal Planet this morning when Pet Star had Einstein from the Knoxville Zoo on the show. It made my day, so I found some videos on youtube to share in case anyone hasn't seen her little act. Enjoy!

I have to brag on my baby CAG, Tamar.

I didn't think she was going to talk, and then all of a sudden, about a month ago, she started talking and hasn't stopped. We are up to 27 phrases! Except for 2 of the phrases, she has picked them up herself--we haven't tried to teach her.

For the past 3 days, she has been very cuddly. She gets on my chest, lays her little head down on me and sticks up butt way up in the air. She wants me to preen and scratch her head and neck. She stayed there over 2 hours Saturday. She actually goes to sleep.

I love her to death.

Isn't it just the greatest feeling to have your bird trust you so much that they will fall fast asleep on you?? Linus fell asleep so soundly once that he tipped over forward right onto his beak. Good thing he's not an outdoor birdie or he would've fallen out of his tree.

I love the voice of TAG's. My CAG is just down right awnrey! She sure does adore her Papa. She and I had a difficult start, but she loves me, and knows of the two of us that I am the one that has patience.
