Did you know... not only if you have a wireless mouse does it need batteries, but if you have a wireless keyboard it needs batteries too! :haha: I have been wondering for days WHY is my keyboard acting so funky?? Then tonight it dawned on me... DUH batteries!

I'm so glad you are not offended. As you know, I am the village idiot of computers. I have a good friend with whom I Instant Message all the time. She is very computer literate, but I am not. We play Mafia Wars and quite frequently we are asking each other what is happening. I have to give her credit for the quote.
Let the elder village idiot share something I just learned - not all batteries are rechargeable! LOL That explains why the charge would not hold on those other batteries. :haha:

Yep - don't ever charge non-rechargable batteries. They can explode and cause a fire.

Also, there comes a time when even re-chargeable batteries won't hold a charge and they have to be replaced.
With all the photos of coins that I need to take, I've gone through three sets of 4 re-chargeable batteries in about a year and a half.
Some keyboards and some mice also have a low battery indicator light. See if yours might.
