Ok, I'm thinking about getting a cockatiel. I want to know if the dust from the too will bother the tiel.

Also, is there anything else I should know before bringing another bird in. Is it too soon for Chicken to have another bird in the house?

Cockatiels are related to cockatoos (and both can be quite dusty). I wouldnt say the dust from the 'Too would bother the 'Tiel but size-wise I would not let them interact together :)

And if you really want to see something interesting... Galatiel (http://www.talkingbirds.com.au/galatiel.php)

That link takes us to Done the impossible-Love is strange. At our house we have Tiels & a Too. Their is really not much interest between the two, our Too does have an inclination to disassemble their caging for them. The Too is much more interested in the Quaker of whom he is jealous, it is mutual! Now I know why jealousy is green. Perhaps he would enjoy one of the flock videos or DVD's that are available for bird sounds & interactions.

Of all the birds, our too hates our foster quaker. I wonder what it is with quakers? They sit and bicker back and forth. It's kind of amusing, and I think Benny thinks so...but the quaker most obviously does not think it's funny.

LOL!
I had thought about changing his name a few times, but there's just something so right about it! I get comments and giggles about his name all the time. I think it fits his silly personality.
