Noah my little quaker..

With tears running down my face as I type I wanted to let everyone know that Noah passed away last night. :(

Noah was a mutilator and we've gone through many episodes over the last few years of him hurting himself and wearing a collar.

He was always a favorite when people came over. Even last night as Sandi and I cleaned cages he was sitting in his cage laughing at us.

You will be missed my little friend but never forgotten....I love you Noah

Thank you all..

Noah was a self mutilator and constantly opened himself up when a collar wasn't on. He had been doing so good for about 2 weeks without a collar and last night he opened his chest and both legs up. I had a feeling when I was putting cream on him that this would be the last time. I'm sure he had some sort of infection from the number of times he cut himself.

Last night he was also very funny...he kept laughing at things that were funny...he's gone but not forgotten...

I'm so sorry for your loss. They seem to dig so deeply down into our souls and grab ahold there, never ever letting go. Maybe Noah was trying to tell you something by his laughter. Maybe he was trying to tell you not to cry for him because where he is at now, he is laughing. Poor little fellow sounds like he had a rough battle but that he was loved dearly for the last part of his life. so glad you were able to make that happen. Rest in peace, noah.
