I feel like garfield felt on mondays. I want to go back to bed and wake up on Tuesday.
my bank overdrew the account by an error because I never took 20$ from an ATM (coincidently that's how much my account is overdrawn) My paycheck was 200$ short, my fiance is leaving for two weeks, and I can't pay my car insurance until next week.

The one bright spot in all of this is the fact that I'm trying to get preapproved for a mortgage. within which i'll be buying a house, and then have to get a 2nd part time job to fill it with furniture. Hmm.. sounds like a TON of fun.

I'm having the terrible monday blues. And now I need a harmonica. :cry1:

Well, perk up. As Scarlet says, "Tomorrow is another day."

It must be a codicil of Murphy's law that everything happens at the same time financially as well as physically. Tomorrow is indeed another day-should be an improvement. :hugs:

Dear Happy Birdy:

Thank you for being here. :) Today I posted about my "Garfield Monday". Its gotten worse before it got better! Instead of leaving tomorrow, Shane is leaving tonight.. but he's taking me to dinner and cuddletime before he leaves.

Does anyone else have an SO who travels alot? Maybe it's just because I'm still so young in love, but I find it SO HARD to sleep when he's not there with me .

At least I have the Fids to cuddle with and keep me warm!

Tomorrow is another day as you all said before. Thanks for the support and letting me vent. I wish you all could be at my wedding! (I'm pushing it back so I have more time to plan!) unfortunately, I don't know where you all would stay!!

PS.
Tiki is not allowed on the 'innernet' so please, make sure he keeps his butt in his cage during the day while mommy works :D

PSS.
You're ALL welcome to come if you want to anyway! :)

Been married since 1972 Feb. I still hate it when he has to travel or if I do. At least I no longer sit on his feet & wrap my arms around his legs. lol That was pretty effective that first year!

Michelle,

As you get "used" to the traveling it will get easier. My hubby was in the Navy for 6 years, and that was the worst. On his second deployment I received 4 phone calls (8 months). His first one was not as bad because it was not war time.....

He still travels frequently for work, but having gone through the Navy it is much easier now. For you right now it is especially stressfull with the finances and wedding on the horizion. Take it one day at a time and keep those goals ahead of you and you will get through it. I only had tiels when hubby was in the Navy, but they were the biggest comfort to me! Enjoy your dinner out, and try not to stress too much. You will get through the days, and eventually you will think back and remember how you two have made it "through so much"!

I used to love it when my ex traveled. He'd be gone for a few months at a time. It was the only time I got any peace. Actually having a cockatoo is walk in the park compared to him.
