This has nothing to do with birds - but some of you might remember the 60's and before. This is a vid that is well put together and informative about that era. ShashaGirl emailed this to me. Thanks Marcia.

For you who remember as I do - enjoy the trip down memory lane. For those of you who weren't born yet... Learn about the older genreration and some of the things we experienced.

Here is the link - enjoy...

Many of you might not know the name Red Skelton - the movie actor, comedian, and radio entertainer - I do.

Here is something he did many years ago that has relevance today...

This one is really my era.

Watch for the fellow in the black motorcycle jacket, engineer boots, cuffed blue jeans and a DA... that was me alright - from top to bottom.

And I had a '57 Ford.

I was born in '59. I had 4 siblings who were teenagers during that time so I kind of watched them experience it. My brother went to Woodstock - I thought he was God. I don't think there is another decade that offered all the diversity of the 60's. So full of hope and promise on the one hand and so tragic on the other.

Uhhh... maybe all the pics are all in black and white... couldn't afford a camera... my dog ate them... don't have any.

My Uncle had a '57 Chevy - that sucker was hot. He let me take it out on a couple dates to impress the girls. And it worked.

Oh yeah... it was RED!!!

Boy am I dumb... did you want to see pics of my car or me???

I was thinking of pics of my car(s). I had a red Jag as well.

All this was after I was out of high school and on my own in Calif. In high school I couldn't afford a nickle pop.
