Did you email them about contacting the local pet shops and veterinary clinics to give them a heads up? Maybe even a local radio station to get the word out.

This came from another board. This was the add she placed on craigslist. They seem to have a lot of ground covered. I was just posting it over here in case people in neighboring states catch wind of these birds. I feel so bad for anyone going through this.
