I love Anna's videos and in almost every one I can hear Chrissy in the background, "What you doin', doin', Chrissy?" She has such a sweet voice. I mimic her a lot at home and wouldn't mind if Cloud could also mimic her.
This morning on my grammar school bus run, I was taking the kids to school, with that sweet little voice running through my mind. I suddenly realized it wasn't just in my mind when I heard one my 1st graders repeatedly asking me a question. She was asking, "Who's Chrissy, Ms Post?"
Don't worry about it. It's normal. Been there. Done that. Got the t-shirt.
When I got my first bird, I spent a lot of time saying, "Gooood birrrrd." You know, all drawn out, loud and positive. One day I was walking around the classroom checking the kids' work over their shoulders and caught myself saying, "Gooood b." Thank goodness I realized what I was about to say and changed it. But it still sounded so stupid to tell a high school student, "Goooood bboy."

It just goes to show, how these little feathered aliens can get into your mind with their subliminal mind control experiments, even from 2,003 miles away.

Isn't Lieutenant Leroy behind on his tissue sampling? Let's ask Captain Poopy Foot, move over Dot & let that bird on the computer.

I saw the title of this post and thought..."Uh-oh...what have I done this time?" When I read your thread I nearly fell out of my chair laughing!!! I TRIED to warn people about the cuteness of Chrissy and her "Doin' Doin'" chatter. Honestly, that's nearly all she ever says and we still think it's cute, day after day. "How ya doin' doin' Chrissy?" has spread like wildfire and more than not I am greeted on the telephone or in person with "How ya Doin' Doin'?" by bird people and non bird people alike. My dad is totally phobic of the birds and insists that if I get one near him, he'll have allergies or get sick if he gets pooped on, but Chrissy? Well, she's not a bird. He requests to hold her all the time. She's just too cute to resist.
It's ok though. We all fall victim to brainwashing at some point. I was trying to feed Gabe a jar of baby food last night and he wasn't cooperating very well. Instead of telling him to open his mouth I asked him to step up. HaHaHa.

OMG! LOL Shane and I were going to dinner and I was walking in and as we were coming to the curb he goes "Step uuuup!" just like he does to Tiki. I was cracking up.
