Tommie was the last bird standing while I cleaned cages. I was cleaning the guards that attach to the outside of Fergie's cage. The food dishes slip in from the outside. I was taking a guard off to clean it when Tommie flew to the vacuum cleaner to eat it. When I turned my back to get her, Fergie suddenly remembered that she could crawl out of her cage through that big hole. She hasn't done that in years. Now that is one more battle I have to fight.

Hahaha. That happened the other day with Linus. Now I have to unteach him or make him forget. I don't expect to accomplish either.

hi dot, I think we should just give up and stay in the cages, and let the fids run our lives....it sure would be easier but not as mutch fun:D

I like it that Fergie is beginning to feel her oats again.

I must be no fun, I put Cassie in a small carrier cage to clean hers then put Stella in Cassies cage while I clean hers, the rest all get put into a carrier also, makes it quicker and easier plus I don't get bitten.
You need to teach Tommy how to vacume.
