A few days ago Blusher flew to me while I was working in the kitchen. I gave a shoulder shrug to get her to fly off. She circled the little dining room but didn't have the loft to make it to her Kitchen Sink (hanging play gym), so she landed on the arm of Fergie's play gym. Fergie at 1000+ grams was already on this arm and when Blusher 500+ grams landed on the very end of it, it dropped about six inches. I heard this high pitched voice say, "Day am." I'm sorry. I laughed. Who could not resist a RFM that makes "damn" into a two syllable word. Now I wonder where she gets her southern accent. I had never heard her say that before.
I do arm and leg lifts with birds as weights. Mostly I do these with Blusher. I say something like "Are you ready? Help me count." As I raise my hand and bird, I say "one." I lower it then raise again and say "two." Blusher usually gets "three right" and sometimes "five." The other day I had her on my hand and she said, "Are you ready?" (She says that a lot). I raised her and said, "One." As I lowered her, she said, "Count." I raised her and said, "Two." As I lowered her, she said, "Count." It was so cute.
