Cocoabunny sick

My poor lopped earned bunny, Cocoabunny is sick. He is 5 years old and is an indoor bunny. Thursday night I noticed his equalibriam was way off, he could not move correctly. Got him to the vet on Friday morning and he is being treated for an ear infection and a paracite. The vet took x-rays and found nothing injested. Poor thing is still not doing well at all!!! I am giving him 2 antibiotics by mouth (lot easier than a beak!!) for 21 and 28 days. Wow!!! I sure hope he starts to feel better soon, the poor thing!!! He is so lethargic and is not eating very well. At least he eats his carrots and broccoli.

awww, poor little CocoaBunny. I hope he makes a speedy recovery as I am sure you are worried sick over him. Hopfully those antibiotics will kick and and start their magic.

Thanks for asking. Finally I allowed him to come out of his cage. He is moving around a little better. Still wobbly, but at least he wants to move. Had to scoop him up to put him back into his cage. Usually he hops on his little chair and gets back into his cage. Poor thing. I am just glad I am seeing some improvement. I was getting a bit worried.

Great news. Cocoabunny put up a small fight when trying to administar meds!!! Must be feeling better!!! He did better hopping around today, but still is not eating great. Wonder if the meds make him feel a little sick.

Might be , or maybe the dizzy thing is making him a bit squeamish.
