This is a saying that our Red Lory, Mars, blurts out during cleaning time every day but one of the other birds took it to a new level this morning. Andy and I have been in and out of the aviary all morning and have noticed that the air purifier keeps shutting off. Well, maybe the thing has just taken all the dander it can handle...then again...maybe not. Finally andy walked in on the action. Dolly has been sliding down her cage all morning, stretching over to the purifier that was stratically placed by the toos cages and was gently tapping the middle "off" button and slipping back up top as if nothing had happened. I guess she doesn't want to have anything to do with that clean air business. Needless to say, we moved the purifier away from Dolly incase she would discover the cord next.

She is something special. I got to meet Wanda & Dave this morning & I'm certain I know why they are such good birds. Lilly an M2 at the Sanctuary really put on a show for Wanda who was pretty in pink.:nanner:

Hurray! I'm so glad you got Wanda out of the house! She really needed that...and i'm sure that too knew she needed a little cheer and showed off just for her! That's great.

I was stuck trying to figure out if the birds were Amish or not...I mean, Dolly kept turning off the air purifier, Benny kept ripping my headphones from my head using any means possible! I think they're opposed to technology...

Actually, they are very techno creatures. Many know how to surf the net and order things on Amazon.com.
Cloud also communicates with the mothership via my toaster or hair dryer. If your birds are trying to turn off or remove your technological wonders, it's probably because their use is causing interference with communications to the mothership.

and as stated in another post please ALWAYS remember that on one of the main planets, planet squawktantrumchewie, coaxial cable is a great delicacy, especially with a side of lint. This is very important information that my inside informant (who shant be named for he is now in the a(v)(l)ian protection program posing as a very substantial miligold!) is feeding me bits and pieces as he is starting to learn that the others in the household are most definitely "wolfwhistlebeakgrindiepoop" I'm still in the process of deciphering the last tidbit.

still no luck on deciphering the meaning of wolfwhistlebeakgrindiepoop but to add to the confusion, i now have to decipher "wolfwhistlebirdyboptailflickpoopie" hmmm... i be thinkin a cryptogram is easier!

I would probably prefer to keep her AWAY from the air purifier at this point, but i would be happy to draw a picture of her shutting it off. :)
