My Robbie (first ferret ever and my baby) had been worrying me with some marks on his stomach and bruising, also low energy for the last week. I got blood work done yesterday and got bad news today- leukemia. Robbie was still doing ok, but he would have wanted to go before he got really bad. So Robbie went to be with the angels today. It was heartbreaking and I'm really really sad today. Robbie and my Bezil ferret hold the keys to my heart, and always will be special to me in a way that no one else can be. Its kind of the end of an era.

Oh my gosh Heather, I am so sorry for your loss. I don't have words for you because I know how special Robbie was and how much you loved him. He was your pride and joy, your baby. I am really worried about you so please call me when you get the chance. I really wish I could be there to be with you. Please give yourself a big hug from me and little Sheila. I love you Robbie and know how happy you are, waddling around in heaven with as much food as you can possibly eat at once! We love you Heather.
