Chicken was mad when I got home from the bird show. Of course he was, I had spent an entire day away from the house with him locked up in that aweful cage.:haha: Well, he got down from his cage at one point and he started chasing feet.
The normal procedure for this is time out. Since he has to have a timeout and can't be picked up when he's like this, I use the laundry basket as a timeout spot. Well, tonight he decided to take the show on the road....

Oh my gosh Michelle! I tried SO hard not to! It was just SO funny! When I shut the camera off I put books on top of the basket so he would have to finish time out.... It was just too funny not to get on camera!

LOL yeah! I was cracking up, I woke shane up this morning watching it I was in stitches :). I get to hang out with Wanda's Dolly and I REALLY like m2s. Even their loud screaming has charm to me (I know I'm a parront). Everything they do is amazing! Speaking of! i can't wait to meet you in a few weeks! i'll let you meet the infamous Tiki in all his glory. And just ask him! He is glorious! he'll tell you so :).

What a hoot. But, :witch: I have a suggestion (See, I don't even have to put the letter "b" in front of it. You knew! :D). You need to learn what I call "the Jenell up." My friend Jenell taught it to me. I leave a big, thick towel in the Habitat. I wrap that sucker around my wrist and arm and tell Fergie, "Jenell up." She tries to bite it then steps up. I can then put her on my other arm (the bare one) and put down the towel. Silly bird. I guess she feels she must act the part of a :witch:. Em. Is it genetic are learned? :)

Welll... my :witch:ism is totally genetic. I can tell by watching my mom.. >.> However, it seems to filter itself to come out at only the most inoppertune moments!

I'm going down for my Spring Break from school. By then (March), I will need a mini vacation! LOL
The basket is not used very often for time out. I think this is the third time. If he's in an exceptionally cranky mood he will get off the cage and start nipping at feet and ankles. When he's in this mode, he needs an immediate cool down. I have thougth about getting a towel or something and picking him up, but when he gets this way, it's like my Chicken isn't there for a minute. Thus, the basket is placed over him. Just from now on I'll have to grab something to keep him from making it mobile jail LOL.

Bonnie was so excited I thought she would be a basketcase by July, so she says she's coming over her break and then again in July. I tried to tell her that we're really not that interesting out here in the weeds. I don't think she heard me. :D

Now that's what I call a traveling jailbird! Poor chicken. He has a lot more fun than Peggy in time out...though I must admit...she sits in the dark bathroom rubbing her beak on the wall (which makes a horribly loud sound) going "brush your teeth, brush your teeth." She tries to make the best of it I guess.

Just to clarify, we only have one extra bed at our house. I think you would have to hold Dot hostage too.
