hi all, bonnney insists to go on the brick fence every fine am. will she know when its too cold for her????? as the autumn closes in , I am afraid of her getting a chill????? :confused:

hi violet. my birds are use to 75* year round. I heat and cool my house to the same temp. I don't take mine out if it's below 65*. I'm sure others will be along soon for input.

They can handle cooler temperatures as long as they can get out of the elements. so a visit outside even in the snow should not be a problem as long as they are secure (not blown away) and can go back inside.

Linus has surprised me by wanting to go out even on the coldest days (for a short time). It is me that can't handle it!

I'm with you Patty we don't live in the southern half of Texas for cold weather enjoyment. A hot bath and warm weather that is all good.

thanks...you have made it easier for me ...it is a common sense thing....bonney hates snow she tries to push the flakes away .she cannot cope with this white stuff ....it is great fun watching her, but the moment she shows stress it's inside. so she is only out for a few minuets , that satifys her
